THE LIST

2025

Yes, I made a website for this… I make websites for work so I thought this would be easier to create and share tbh.

I'm going to loosely mention things I like or have been thinking about with some rough examples, images, inspiration, and links. There's only one rule as alexa says,

"Don't go crazy"

Here is a rough outline with links to parts of the site:

CLOTHING

Jackets

As you all know its cold now, freezing and sub that even so what else to keep me warm than a good jacket. As I'm not forced to come to the office everyday I find myself lacking good office wear… including a nicer looking coat.

I've been leaning towards some type of wool/longer overcoat, something like this (size large black) Abercrombie one although the double breasted style is a bit odd to me, regardless i love the wider lapel look. From what I can find online though many people recommend finding older ones on ebay or elsewhere from nice brands for cheap since the quality is better.

Another style of jacket I've been on the hunt for is a trucker/workwear style as my current go too has been falling apart. This one from flint and tiner (size large black) has been on my list for a bit but is obviously dumb expensive so not sure if its worth the tag (found it from the show Last of Us). Abercrombie has a similar one called a lightweight barn jacket.

On a similar note, another jacket I've got my eye on to collect secondhand (please dont buy this new, ebay or fb marketplace) are the Barbour Bedale and Beaufort jackets (Size 44 or Large) They're waxed style similar coats that come in olive, navy, and black. Classic more formal look with the trucker jacket frame.

Regular clothing

For other clothing, I'm going to be less specific and just give broadly what brands I like, what I've been thinking of adding to my closet and some reference styles.

Some brands I love/frequent/never go wrong:

  • Abercrombie

  • Uniqlo

  • Banana republic

  • Jcrew

  • Lululemon

    • Not for pants though

Some I haven't tried but look like i'd love

  • Cuts

  • Aimee leon dore

  • Buck Mason

Shirts/Tops

I generally need more/newer classic tees, usually in neutral or common colors; black, white, dark grey, brown, etc. Abercrombie is pretty decent for these, I've heard the company Cuts is pretty good, Uniqlo got some good one. Generally, I take alot of recommendations from GQ articles so they might have some other good ones I can't think of right now.

Sweaters

I've come to the realization I might need more sweaters, its freezing outside and I can't wear sweatshirts to work sadly. Abercrombie has some good crew ones. I've also really been into the ones with collars like this one from banana repiblic, its more formal and flexible for work or date night. Although those colors aren't great, another brand might be good. Some other sweater styles I've been curious about fishermans sweaters, quarter zips, and roll neck sweaters.

Work shirts

Going into the office 5 days a week now warrants more office attire and I've come to realize I need more work shirts. Uniqlo or any brands from Mens Warehouse/Jos a bank are great. I'm a size 16 collar, 33 sleeve, or Large.

Pants

I'll just say it, pants are hard. I'm technically a size 33 x 30 but that's only for pants that are Athletic sized or straight/wide leg. I generally can't fit slim or sometimes even straight pants because my quads are too big.

Generally, any and all Athletic fit pants from Abercrombie work great. These baggy ones particularly are amazing, I have the camo ones now in a 32 x 30 and even those fit good. These baggy trousers are also pretty nice and can be used in the office. Theres also another style Abercrombie has called their 'Go-To' pants that are made in a fitness like material for comfort and breathability (similar to lululemons ones).

In terms of colors/styles, Black, Dark grey, brown, and navy. Generally wider legs or straight at thinnest.

For any other type of pants, like sweatpants per se, abercrombie is probably the best and no cuffed ankle please.

Shoes & Socks

I do generally need/welcome more socks especially if you have any good recs, I seem to run through them often. Black generally, but could use new white socks as well. Half calf length please and I'm a size 10 for both.

As for shoes, I definitely need a new pair of white sneaker dailies as mine have worn out to have holes on them. I've been eyeing Veja's recently since they've been trending. Although, you can probably find them for cheaper somewhwre else online, Alexa and I saw womans ones at TJ Maxx the other day. Generally a pure white or mostly white sneaker is the best. The classic reeboks are cool and timeless. Cole haan has some classic styles as well as Nike.

Outside of white sneakers I've been looking for a good loafer for work. I've been leaning towards penny loafers with a bigger sole sorta like these from Cole Haan. My goal is this classic silhouette and style but with good enough reviews to ensure my heels don't get rubbed off trying to break them in.

Other than sneakers, I love boots and specifically lack ones with laces. Thursday boots and Solovairs are great brands i've loved for those but am absolutely open to others since i've rarely strayed from these. I love the classic combat boot or president style in matte black or dark leather.

Other accessories

I'll keep this part generally shorter since I don't know exactly what I want but will just describe some things I may need:

  • A scarf of some sort for when it's freezing

  • Any cool simplish/minimal or alternative silver rings or earrings

  • Cool trucker style hats

  • Silver bracelets

  • Cool running/everyday sunglasses like Oakley Radars (again doesn't need to be new, could be secondhand)

HOME

Cooking

For cooking, I've been lacking on upping my kitchen set. This specific tri-ply set from Tramontina has been on my list for a while. I probably don't need the whole set, but some staple pieces could be perfect.

Outside of pans, I have been also in need of a dutch oven for cooking stews or roast, obviously Le Cresuet is the goat, but Lodge makes a pretty damn good one for far cheaper. I know nothing about sizes, styles, or colors to be honest, but I have spotted them at TJ Maxx for cheap.

Recently, I've been on a huge wine kick, reading books and listening to podcasts. If you know about wine equipment or wine things, would love anything related to that too. Like a decanter or wine opener, I've been looking at Wine Enthusiast for ideas. Wine itself is also a great gift, i've been getting into Bordeauxs and LOVE them.

Coffee

I have been in dire need to purchase an espresso machine. I've been eyeing the more manual ones where you can make the espresso itself since it's cheaper and generally bettwer quality than pods.

Water Bottle

This ones big, I have some now but they're so annoying to clean. I've been looking for a new one with a straw (on the inside not the outside) and ideally one thats metal and easy to clean. Owala has been what I've been looking at so far. White ideally.

Things to just have around

I'll just list these off since generally they're just things I always have around and restock:

ACTIVITIES

If you want to get me something more experiential, I LOVE cooking classes and wine tastings. Obviously you can't wrap those up, but thought i'd leave the idea if thats something you're looking for.
